Feliciano Gamez IV
Funeral Director in Charge
I am a life long resident of Laredo, TX. In 2007, I graduated from Commonwealth Institute of Mortuary Science and have been in the funeral industry for over fourteen years. Currently, I oversee all day to day operations of Gamez & Sons to ensure that all of our client families are given the best possible service and to ensure that funeral staff have the necessary tools and support.
What I find most rewarding about the funeral industry is the opportunity that we have to help our families during most trying times and the positive impact we have on them.
When I do get a chance to get away from the office I enjoy time with my family, reading, playing guitar and watching cable news.
Clarissa G. Flores
I was born and raised in Laredo, Texas. I am the 10th child of my family. My mother is from El Salvador, and my late father was from Hebbronville. I graduated from United South High School in 2013, and four years later from Texas A&M International University with a bachelors in Criminal Justice.
I've been in the funeral industry for over 3 years, first working as a funeral attendant and moving up to becoming the office manager. I manage the accounts, both the funeral home and also the pet cremation, insurance claims, or anything that my coworkers need help in. I enjoy working at Gamez & Sons Funeral Home because I love helping families in their time of need. When I'm not in the office, I enjoy spending time with my lovely husband and family and catching up on my favorite Netflix shows like Riverdale and Vampire Diaries.
My typical day involves taking incoming calls and directing them to the correct person, imputing funeral logistic and vital statistical information into web-based systems, preparing stationary for funerals, filing death certificates, running errands, scheduling funeral masses, and other usual business office duties.
What I like best account my job is the environment and the people I get to work with –both the client families and the other staff. I am very grateful to management for they give me when I need time off for my family.
On my time off I like to spend time with my family, watch movies on Netflix and enjoy the outdoors at the ranch.
