Praxedis Gonzalez Benavides

Praxedis Gonzalez Benavides, 88 yrs, passed away on July, 26, 2020.

Mr. Gonzalez is preceded in death by his wife, Maria del Roble Velasquez Gonzalez; son, Praxedis Gonzalez Jr.

Left to cherish his memory are his children, Irma Gonzalez (Andres Cobos), Mario (Laura) Gonzalez, Maria del Roble (+Miguel) Cantu, Graciela (Jose) Martinez, Esther (Juan Manuel) Rivera, Sylvia (Arturo) Hernandez, Fernando (Maria de Jesus) Gonzalez; 27 grandchildren; numerous great grandchildren; siblings, Sebastian Gonzalez, Cristobal Gonzalez, numerous other family and friends.

A visitation will be held on Wednesday, July 29, 2020 from 7:00 a.m. to 10:30 a.m. at Gamez & Sons Funeral and Cremations Services where a mass will be celebrated at 11:00 a.m. at St. Joseph Catholic Church.

A cremation will be held at a later date.

In accordance with city ordinance, the number of visitors will be limited to 50 percent occupancy capacity. Please feel free to wait in your vehicle for a turn if funeral home reaches capacity. All visitors must wear a face mask before entering the building and use hand sanitizer provided upon entry. Visitors must provide their own face covering.  Anyone that is knowingly sick or has upper respiratory illness is asked to stay home and may be denied entry
