Pedro Hernandez

Pedro Hernandez, 87, passed away on Tuesday, September 8, 2020 in Laredo, Texas.

He is preceded in death by his parents, Lino & Lucia Hernandez; siblings, Catarino Hernandez ,Lino Hernandez, Lucia Salazar de Hernandez, Francisco Hernandez, Maria Dolores Hernandez, Leocadio Hernandez, Guadalupe Hernandez, Juana Hernandez.

Left to cherish his memory are his children, san Juana (Alberto) Sanchez, Lucia (Jose) Zavala, Roberto (Leticia) Hernandez, Pedro (Maria) Hernandez, Veronica (Manuel) Rodriguez, Ana Maria (Andrew) Mc Cartin, Luis (Susana) Hernandez, Erika (Manuel) Jasso, Jorge (Ileana) Hernandez; 26 grandchildren, 23 great grandchildren, 2 great great grandchildren; siblings, Julia Rico, Cirila Hernandez, Maria Luisa Hernandez, Lino (Petra) Hernandez, numerous other family and friends.

A visitation will be held on Friday, September 11, 2020 from 5:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. at Gamez & Sons Funeral and Cremation Services where a rosary will be recited at 7:00 p.m.

Funeral services will be held on Saturday, September 12, 2020, funeral home doors will open at 7:00 a.m. Procession will depart at 8:30 a.m. from Gamez & Sons Funeral and Cremation Services to St. Francis Cabrini Catholic Church where a mass will be celebrated at 9:00 a.m.

Cremation will be held at a later date.

In accordance with city ordinance, the number of visitors will be limited to 50 percent occupancy capacity. Please feel free to wait in your vehicle for a turn if the funeral home reaches capacity. All visitors must wear a face mask before entering the building and use hand sanitizer provided upon entry. Visitors must provide their own face covering.  Anyone that is knowingly sick or has upper respiratory illness is asked to stay home and may be denied entry.
