Leonardo Gerardo Barrientos

Leonardo Barrientos, 56, was called by the Lord on January 19, 2021.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Juan Antonio & Abelina Barrientos; brother, Lorenzo Cuahtemoc Barrientos.

Left to cherish his memory are his wife, Blanca Estela Hernandez Marin; children, Abigail A. Barrientos, Christina Y. Barrientos, Viridiana (Hector) Ruiz, Leonardo Emmanuel Barrientos, Daniela Noemi Barrientos, Jacklyn (Guadalupe) Amador, Norma Rodriguez, Shirlyn Rodriguez; 6 grandchildren; siblings, Juan Antonio Barrientos, Pablo Orlando (Diana) Barrientos, Francisco Andres (Teresa) Barrientos, San Juana Veronica (Juan Carlos) Perez, Nora Concepcion Barrientos, Dariela M. Barrientos, Sylvia Patricia Barrientos, numerous other relatives and friends.

A visitation will be held on Monday, February 1, 2021, from 7:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. at Gamez and Sons Funeral Home & Cremation Services where a prayer service will be held at 10:00 a.m. Procession departs at 10:30 a.m.

Interment will follow to the City of Laredo Cemetery.

In accordance with city ordinance, the number of visitors will be limited to 50 percent occupancy capacity. Please feel free to wait in your vehicle for a turn if funeral home reaches capacity. All visitors must wear a face mask before entering the building and use hand sanitizer provided upon entry. Visitors must provide their own face covering.  Anyone that is knowingly sick or has upper respiratory illness is asked to stay home and may be denied entry.
