Jose Lecea

Jose Lecea, 84, passed away on Monday, August 3, 2020 in Laredo, Texas.

Left to cherish his memory is his wife, Argelia Lecea; children, Juan (Anabel) Lecea, Hermila (+Hilario) Villanueva, Josefina (Victor) De La Cruz, Pedro Lecea, Jesus (Anabel) Lecea, Guadalupe Lecea, Argelia (Jesus) Garcia, 24 grandchildren, numerous great & great great grandchildren; brother, Aurelio (Senorina) Lecea; sisters, Concepcion (+Juan) Martinez, Maria Lecea Cantu (Rafael), nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

A visitation will be held on Tuesday, August 4, 2020 from 5:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. at Gamez &  Sons Funeral and Cremation Services where a Rosary will be recited at 7:00 p.m.

Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, August 5, 2020, funeral home doors will open at 7:00 a.m.  Procession will depart at 9:30 a.m. from Gamez & Sons Funeral and Cremation Services to Santo Nino Catholic Church where a funeral mass will be celebrated at 10:00 a.m. Interment will follow immediately to the Calvary Catholic Cemetery.

In accordance with city ordinance, the number of visitors will be limited to 50 percent occupancy capacity. Please feel free to wait in your vehicle for a turn if funeral home reaches capacity. All visitors must wear a face mask before entering the building and use hand sanitizer provided upon entry. Visitors must provide their own face covering.  Anyone that is knowingly sick or has upper respiratory illness is asked to stay home and may be denied entry
