Yolanda C. Ortiz

Yolanda C. Ortiz, 64, was called by the Lord on February 15, 2022.

She was preceded in death by her son, Jorge Ortiz Jr., her parents: Blas & Matiana Castro, & siblings: Francisca Perez, Pablo Castro, Ines Solano, Melida Jasso, Blas Castro, & Antonio Castro.

Left to cherish her memory is her husband, Jorge Ortiz, children: Bertha (Fidel) Sanchez, Norberto (Gina) Ortiz, Rosa M. Ortiz, & Carlos Ortiz; grandchildren, Issac George Ortiz, Mia Itzel Ortiz, Jose Guzman Jr., Jorge Rafael Guzman, Argel Ariel Vasquez; sister, San Juana Hernandez, nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

Visitation will be held on Friday, February 18, 2022 from 4p.m. to 10 p.m. at Gamez & Sons Funeral and Cremation Services where a rosary will be held at 7 p.m.

Funeral mass will be held on Saturday, February 19, 2022 at Santa Rita de Casia Catholic Church at 9:00 a.m. Everyone is encouraged to meet at the church. Interment will follow to the Laredo City Cemetery.

Pallbearers will be: Fidel Sanchez, Norberto Ortiz, Carlos Ortiz, Jose Guzman Jr, Jorge Guzman & Mia Ortiz.
