Veronika Gonzalez, 79, passed away on Thursday, January 01, 2026, in Laredo, Texas.

She is preceded in death by her parents, Jose De Leon Rodriguez & Minerva De Leon Navarrete; siblings, Jorge De Leon Navarrete, Yudistira Echavarria, Oscar De Leon Navarrete.

Left to cherish her memory are her husband, Jorge Gonzalez; children, Joscardo (Rosy) Conde, Carlos Felipe (Sylvia) Orozco, Ivan (Maria) Orozco; grandchildren, Tayla R. Conde, Felipe Orozco, Ajsha Orozco, Marlon Orozco, Lilah Orozco, Rodrigo Orozco.

Visitation will be held on Tuesday, January 13, 2026, from 7 to 11am at Gamez & Sons Funeral and Cremation Services. We will depart the funeral home chapel at 11am to The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, located on 1518 Hillside Road, for a funeral service from 11:30am to 12:30pm.

Interment will follow to the City of Laredo Cemetery at 12:30pm for a graveside service at 1pm.
