Veronica Villarreal, 45, passed away on January 29, 2021, in Laredo, Texas.

She is preceded in death by her mother, Taide Gloria Tobias; niece, Janaya Tobias.

Left to cherish her memory is her husband, Lazaro M. Villarreal; children, Christopher Adam Villarreal, Miguel Angel Villarreal, Jazmine Nicole Villarreal; father, Marcos Tobias; siblings, Edna (Sergio) Villarreal, Marcos Tobias Jr., Luis Arnoldo Tobias, Amy Azenette Tobias, numerous other family and friends.

A visitation will be held on Monday, February 8, 2021, from 6:00 a.m. to 10:00 a.m. at Gamez and Sons Funeral Home & Cremation Services where a prayer service will be held at 8:00 a.m. Procession departs at 10:00 a.m. to the Calvary Catholic Cemetery.

In accordance with city ordinance, the number of visitors will be limited to 50 percent occupancy capacity. Please feel free to wait in your vehicle for a turn if funeral home reaches capacity. All visitors must wear a face mask before entering the building and use hand sanitizer provided upon entry. Visitors must provide their own face covering.  Anyone that is knowingly sick or has upper respiratory illness is asked to stay home and may be denied entry.
