Veronica "Betty" Sanchez

Veronica Sanchez, affectionately known as Betty, age 48, earned her wings and passed away peacefully, surrounded by her loving family by her side as the Lord called her into heaven on Thursday, June 20, 2024.

Betty was a proud 1994 graduate of Martin High School. She was strong, courageous, and a warrior as she battled cancer. She was loved by family and friends who will always and forever cherish her until we meet again. 

She is preceded in death by her maternal grandparents, Francisca (Raul) Moncivais, and paternal grandparents, Jose Ines (Susana) Sanchez.

Left behind to cherish her memories are her parents, Juan Pablo Sanchez and Guadalupe Sanchez, and her siblings, Ruth E. Sanchez, Sandra (Francisco) Sanchez, and Juan Pablo (Noemi) Sanchez Jr. Together, they stand firm, along with her nephew Frank Anthony (Betty) Sanchez, niece Gaby (Charles) B. Sanchez, nephews Juan Pablo Sanchez III and Juan Xavier Sanchez, and niece Noelie X. Sanchez.

Visitations will be held on Saturday, June 22, 2024, from 5 to 8 pm at Gamez & Sons Funeral and Cremation, where a Prayer service will be held at 7 p.m. 

Cremation will be held at a later date.

The family wishes to express gratitude to her doctors, nurses, medical staff, classmates, and close friends. We would also like to thank the De Llano family for their unending support and the entire team at Altus Hospice for their exceptional care and support during these challenging times.
