Valerie Michelle Perez-Cordova, 56, affectionately known as Michelle, was a Spouse, Mother, Daughter, Sister, Niece, and Cousin. She was called to her eternal resting place on Friday, May 17, 2024, in her hometown of Laredo, Texas.
 
Born to Basilia Cruz Perez and Domingo Perez on October 29, 1967, in Laredo, she was a cherished member of the family in which she dearly loved. A graduate of Martin High School in 1986. In her earlier years she worked as an Office Manager and most recently as a Caregiver. She always enjoyed spending time with family and friends.
 
Her battle with serious medical issues in recent years showed her courage in facing life challenges with a smile. Despite the pain, Michelle came out a hero and stayed strong until the end.

She was preceded in death by her daughter, Savannah Rochelle Perez; parents, Domingo Perez & Basilia Cruz Perez; grandmother, Maria Estela Negrete; grandfather, Fernando Negrete; aunts & uncles, Maria De Los Angeles Negrete, Fernando Negrete Jr., Gerardo David Negrete; cousins, Veronica Yvette Cena, Josue "Josh" Fernando Rivera, and Cassandra Negrete.

Michelle's memory will be cherished and kept alive by her spouse, Felix Guadalupe Cordova Jr, brother, Jesse Lee Hall Jr, and many cousins, aunts and uncles.

Memorial Service will be held on Saturday, June 8th, 2024, from 3 to 6 pm. A pastor will be saying a few words and prayers to honor and celebrate her life from 5 to 6 pm.

Valerie Michelle Perez-Cordova will be profoundly missed, but her spirit will continue to guide and inspire all who were blessed to know her.
