Toribio Paredes Solis, falleció el 27 de diciembre del 2025, a la edad de 74 años, para estar con el Señor.
Le precedieron en la muerte su hijo, Javier Solis; sus padres, Juan Solis y Juanita Paredes; y su hermano, Isaias Solis Paredes.
Le sobreviven su esposa de 48 años, Petra Garza Solis; su hijo, Efren Juan (Evangelina) Solis; su hermana, Paula Solis Paredes; seis nietos: Esmeralda, Diamond, Juanito, Javi, Marisela y Julian; cuatro nietos políticos; tres bisnietos: Elijah, Adalynn y Arabella; cinco bisnietos políticos; y demás familiares y amigos.
Toribio siempre será recordado como un hombre trabajador. Dedicó la mayor parte de su vida a la carpintería. Trabajó en muchas ciudades y estados diferentes, incluyendo Houston, Dallas, Austin y Luisiana. También trabajó en Arizona junto a su hijo, Efren Juan Solis, durante varios meses. Sentía un gran orgullo por su rancho y encontraba profunda satisfacción en el trabajo de la tierra. Como un dedicado ranchero, disfrutaba cuidando del rancho y de las tareas diarias de la vida rural, atendiendo a los animales. Algunos de sus momentos más felices los pasó cuidando del rancho, de la tierra que tanto amaba. Toribio es muy querido y será profundamente extrañado por quienes lo conocieron.
El velorio se llevará a cabo el viernes, 2 de enero del 2026, de 3 a 8pm, en la funeraria Gamez & Sons Funeral and Cremation Services, donde se rezará un rosario a las 7 p. m.
La cremación se realizará en una fecha posterior.

Toribio Paredes Solis, went home to be with our Lord on December 27, 2025, at the age of 74.
He is preceded in death by his son, Javier Solis; parents, Juan Solis & Juanita Paderes; brother, Isaias Solis Paredes.
He is survived by his wife of 48 years, Petra Garza Solis; son, Efren Juan (Evangelina) Solis; sister, Paula Solis Paredes; six grandchildren, Esmeralda, Diamond, Juanito, Javi, Marisela, Julian, four step-grandchildren, three great grandchildren, Elijah, Adalynn, Arabella, five step great grandchildren, other family members and friends.
Toribio will always be remembered as a hard-working man. He spent most of his life working as a journeyman carpenter. He worked in many different cities and states. Some of the places he worked in are in Houston, Dallas, Austin, and Louisiana. He also worked in Arizona alongside his son, Efren Juan Solis for many months. He also took great pride in tending to his ranch and found deep satisfaction in the work of the land. A devoted ranch hand, he enjoyed caring for the ranch and the daily duties of ranch life, tending to the animals. Some of the happiest moments were spent tending to the ranch, caring for the land he loved. Toribio is deeply loved and will be greatly missed by those who knew him.
Visitation will be held on Friday, January 02, 2026, from 3 to 8pm, at Gamez & Sons Funeral and Cremation Services where a Rosary will be held at 7pm.
Cremation will be held at a later date.
