Tomas E Guerra

Mr. Tomas E. Guerra, 75, entered into the presence of God on June 28, 2025, in San Antonio, Texas. He was born on October 12, 1949, in Nuevo Laredo, Tamaulipas, Mexico, and had been a resident of Laredo for most of his life. He will be forever remembered and missed by his family as a humble, simple, caring and giving man. 

Tomas will be remembered as a proud father, grandfather, husband, son, brother and loyal friend.

He was forever a student of the world, constantly expanding his knowledge of history and world cultures.

Tomas found joy in many hobbies, from his culinary adventures to his fervent support as the ultimate football (soccer) fan, among other sports.

He built a dedicated career in logistics, dedicating his life to truck driving throughout Mexico and the US.

He is preceded in death by his beloved wife: Patricia Morales de Guerra; parents: Eugenio and Armandina Guerra.

Left behind to cherish his memory are his children: Tomas E. Guerra Jr. (Bernice), Pamela San Juanita Guerra de Garcia (Jesus); grandchild: Jude Ely Guerra; siblings: Gloria Guerra de Gonzalez; brother in law: Francisco Morales (Ana Laura), sister in law: Ana Archuleta, as well as nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

The family will gather to receive condolences on Thursday, July 3, 2025, from 5 to 9 pm at Gamez and Sons Funeral and Cremation Services, where a Vigil for the Deceased and Rosary will be offered at 7 pm.

Visitation will continue on Friday, July 4, 2025, from 7 am until 9:20 am, where the funeral procession will depart to Divine Mercy Catholic Church, where a Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10 am.

Cremation services will follow at a later date and interment will take place privately in Nuevo Laredo, Tamaulipas, Mexico.
