Sra. Maria De Jesus De La Garza, 88, was called by the Lord on October 29, 2021.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Paulino & Mariana Fernandez and siblings: Paulino Fernandez, Hector Fernandez, Vicente Fernandez, Irene Fernandez, & Maria De La Luz Bishop, & daughters: Ana Leticia De La Garza & Elizabeth Perez.

Left to cherish her memory is her husband, Guillermo De La Garza, children: Jose Guillermo De La Garza, Maria (Juan Antonio) Livas, Estela Hernandez, Ernesto De La Garza, Araceli De La Garza, & Miguel Angel Gutierrez, 13 grandchildren, numerous great-grandchildren, siblings: Dolores (Joaquin) Vasquez & Nelly (+Harry) Wieden, nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

A visitation will be held on Wednesday, November 3, 2021, from 5pm to 9pm at Gamez & Sons Funeral and Cremation Services where a rosary will be celebrated at 7:00pm.

Funeral services will be on Thursday, November 4, 2021, from the funeral home to St. Joseph Catholic Church where a funeral mass will be celebrated at 9:30am. Interment will follow immediately at the Laredo City Cemetery

Pallbearers will be: Ernesto De La Garza, Miguel Angel Gutierrez, Joseph Corona, Armando De La Garza, Juan Antonio Livas, & John William Livas.
