Silvestre Gomez

Silvestre Gomez, 93, passed away on December 01, 2020 in Laredo, Texas.

He is preceded in death by his wife, Rosa Elva Gomez; son, Uvaldo Gomez.

Left to cherish his memory are his children, Margarita (Conrado) Saucedo, Oscar (Maria Guadalupe) Gomez, Jose Antonio (Elsa) Gomez, Hector Gomez, Magdalena (Felipe) Espinoza, Maria del Rosario (Federico) Garcia, Martha (Juan) Baires; 29 grandchildren; numerous great grandchildren, other relatives and friends.

A visitation will be held on Friday, December 4, 2020, from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. at Gamez and Sons Funeral Home & Cremation Services where a rosary will be recited at 12:00 p.m.

Cremation will be held at a later date.

In accordance with city ordinance, the number of visitors will be limited to 50 percent occupancy capacity (90 people) at a time. Please feel free to wait in your vehicle for a turn. Similar or more stringent guidelines are likely applicable at the church and cemetery.
