Samuel Aguilar

Mr. Samuel Aguilar, 91, was called home to be with the Lord on July 26, 2025, in Laredo, Texas, having been surrounded by his loving family at his side.

He is preceded in death by his wife, Gloria Hilda Trevino de Aguilar; granddaughter, Gloria Isabel Grimaldo; siblings: Arturo Luna, Susana Cantu Aguilar.

Surviving him are his children: Marisol (Jose Jesus) Gonzalez, Nidia Veronica (Jose Guadalupe Grimaldo) Aguilar; grandchildren: Sherlyn G. (Gilberto Villarreal) Gonzalez, Channtal Gonzalez, Andres Jesus Gonzalez, Veronica Guadalupe (Carlos Ernesto) Castillo, Marina Alexandra (Juan Antonio) Alonso; great-grandchild: Angel Ezequiel Castillo; siblings: Maria Aguilar, as well as nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

The family will receive condolences on Monday, July 28, 2025, from 6 to 10 pm at Gamez & Sons Funeral and Cremation Services, where a Liturgy of the Word and Rosary will be offered at 7 pm.

A cremation and interment will be held at a later date.
