Salvador Perez III

Salvador Perez III, 55, passed away on Sunday, August 2, 2020 in Laredo, Texas.

He is preceded in death by his father, Salvador Perez Jr.; sister in law, Norma Idalia Gresham Gonzalez. Mr. Perez passed away surrounded by his family.

Left to cherish his memory are his wife, Martha Alicia Perez; children, Steven Andrew Perez, Melinda Sue Perez; mother, Elena Perez; sister, Melissa (Luis) Soto; mother in law, Maria Victoria Trevino; sister in law, Sandra (Dr. Christopher) Marshall; brother in law, Oscar (Tina) Gonzalez Jr.; sister in law, Blanca Nelly Gonzalez; brother in law, Jesus (Sandra) Gonzalez, numerous other family and friends.

Visitation will be held on Monday, August 10, 2020 from 5:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. where a rosary will be recited at 7:00 p.m. at Gamez & Sons Funeral and Cremation Services.

Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, August 11, 2020 at Gamez & Sons Funeral and Cremation Services where doors will open at 7:00 a.m. Departure will take place at 9:30 a.m. from the funeral home to Santo Nino Catholic Church where a mass will be celebrated at 10:00 a.m. Interment will follow immediately at the Calvary Catholic Cemetery.

Pallbearers will be, Steven Andrew Perez, Oscar Gonzalez Jr., Jesus Gonzalez, Gilbert Soto, Luis Soto Jr., Luis Soto Sr.

Honorary Pallbearers will be, Reynaldo Garcia Jr., Ernesto Rodriguez Jr., Eduardo Rodriguez, Cristian Ruiz, Danny Costilla, Keith Edward Gresham Jr., Dalila Estrada.

The family would like to give a special thanks to Dr. Moshen Mahani, Dr. Carlos Casas, Dr. Huang, and Blue Horizon Hospice Care.

In accordance with city ordinance, the number of visitors will be limited to 50 percent occupancy capacity. Please feel free to wait in your vehicle for a turn if funeral home reaches capacity. All visitors must wear a face mask before entering the building and use hand sanitizer provided upon entry. Visitors must provide their own face covering.  Anyone that is knowingly sick or has upper respiratory illness is asked to stay home and may be denied entry.
