He is preceded in death by his parents, William Carlton & Vera Carlton; sisters, Judy Carlton, Susie Carlton.

Left to cherish his memory is his wife, Sanjuana Guadalupe Carlton; children, Brandy Carlton (Troy) Payne, Karina Elizabeth Serna, Victor Jose (Anagabriela) Serna; grandchildren, Jesse Payne, Mary Elizabeth Payne, Grecia Andrade, Sebastian Serna; siblings, Judy Carlton, Susie Carlton, numerous other relatives & friends.

Cremation will be held at a later date.
