Raquel H. Flores, 83, passed away on January 30, 2021 in Laredo, Texas.

She is preceded in death by her husband, Jesus Flores Arce; parents, Macedomio & Maria Luisa Hernandez; siblings, Romelia Hernandez, Rene Hernandez, Rodolfo Hernandez, Raul Hernandez.

Left to cherish her memory is her children, Jesus Eduardo (San Juana) Flores, Cynthia (Luis) Rodriguez, Jose D. (Virginia) Flores, Rene G. (Maria) Flores; 9 grandchildren; 25 great grandchildren; brother, Roel (Maria) Hernandez, numerous other family, and friends.

A visitation will be held on Tuesday, February 9, 2021, from 5:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. at Gamez and Sons Funeral Home & Cremation Services where a rosary will be held at 7:00 p.m.

A funeral mass will be held on Wednesday, February 10, 2021, from the funeral home to San Luis Rey Catholic Church, mass will commence at 8:30 a.m. Funeral home doors opens at 7:00 a.m. Procession will depart at 8:00 a.m. from funeral home to the Calvary Catholic Cemetery.

Funeral services are under the arrangement of Gamez & Sons Funeral and Cremation Services, 1029 Bob Bullock Loop, Laredo, Texas 78043.

In accordance with city ordinance, the number of visitors will be limited to 50 percent occupancy capacity. Please feel free to wait in your vehicle for a turn if funeral home reaches capacity. All visitors must wear a face mask before entering the building and use hand sanitizer provided upon entry. Visitors must provide their own face covering.  Anyone that is knowingly sick or has upper respiratory illness is asked to stay home and may be denied entry.
