Ramiro Villanueva, 49, was called by the Lord on February 17, 2021.
He is preceded in death by his daughter, Lizbeth Villanueva; father Francisco Villanueva; siblings, Jannette Villanueva, Pablo Torres; maternal grandparents, Valeriano & Francisca Gonzalez.
Left to cherish his memory is his wife, Esmeralda Lopez Villanueva; children, Ramiro Villanueva, Estefania Villanueva, Denise Sofia Villanueva, Bryan Villanueva; 3 grandchildren; mother, Maria Villanueva; siblings, Nancy (Jesus) Balderas, Eladio (Esther) Villanueva, Julieta (Fermin) Luna, Mariana Villanueva, Frances (Fernando) Velez, Claudia (Rony) Gutierrez, Ana Maria Torres, Maria Eugenia Torres, Irma (Santos) Alvarez, Juan Jose (Maria de Jesus) de la Rosa, Raul (Maria de Lourdes) Torres, numerous other nieces, nephews, relatives, and friends.
A visitation will be held on Thursday, February 25, 2021, from 5:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. at Gamez and Sons Funeral Home & Cremation Services where a prayer service will be held at 7:00 p.m.
Visitations will continue on Friday, February 26, 2021, at Gamez and Sons Funeral Home & Cremation Services where a prayer service will be held at 9:30 a.m. Funeral home doors will open at 7:00 a.m. Procession departs at 10:30 a.m.
Interment will follow to the Laredo City Cemetery.

In accordance with city ordinance, the number of visitors will be limited to 50 percent occupancy capacity. Please feel free to wait in your vehicle for a turn if funeral home reaches capacity. All visitors must wear a face mask before entering the building and use hand sanitizer provided upon entry. Visitors must provide their own face covering. Anyone that is knowingly sick or has upper respiratory illness is asked to stay home and may be denied entry.
