Michael Rene Gonzalez, 48, passed away on Monday, February 9, 2026, in Laredo, Texas.

He was preceded in death by his brother, Armando Manuel Gonzalez.

Left to cherish his memory are his children: Makayla Renee Lopez, Miranda Renee Gonzalez, Michael Rene Gonzalez; parents, Manuel & Maria Gonzalez; siblings, Oscar Mario Gonzalez (Estrella), Norma Jean Gonzalez (Juan Pablo Garcia), Michelle Gonzalez (Jose Novoa), nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

Visitation will be held on Saturday, February 14, 2026, from 3 to 5pm at Gamez & Sons Funeral and Cremation Services, where a Rosary will be held at 3:30pm

Cremation will be held at a later date.
