Mauricio Javier Rodriguez Sr., 41, was called by the Lord on June 21, 2021.

Mauricio was a proud and doting father. Mauricio proved to be a loyal friend, always willing to go the extra mile. Mauricio was determined to make an impact within his community, serving as a City Council Member for Encinal, TX.

He was preceded in death by his father, Pedro Rodriguez & maternal grandfather, Pedro Garcia Sr.

Left to cherish his memory is his wife, Maria Alicia Rodriguez, children: Mauricio Javier Rodriguez Jr., Isabella Rodriguez, Alisandra Rodriguez, George Javier Rodriguez, Dominica Lopez & Jose Lopez, mother, Aurora Garcia, siblings: Laura Alicia Rodriguez, Jorge Alberto Rodriguez Sr., nephew, Jorge Alberto Rodriguez Jr., aunts, other relatives, and friends.

A visitation will be held on Saturday, June 26, 2021, from 4:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. at Gamez and Sons Funeral Home & Cremation Services where a rosary will be recited at 7:00 p.m..

Cremation will be held at a later date.

Funeral services are under the arrangement of Gamez & Sons Funeral and Cremation Services, 1029 Bob Bullock Loop, Laredo, Texas 78043.
