Marina G. Garza, 95, passed away on December 08, 2020 in Laredo, Texas.

She is preceded in death by her husband, Jesus Garza; children, Guadalupe Garza, Alicia Garza, Esperanza Gonzalez, Maria Garza; siblings, Manuel Garcia, Tomasa Garcia, Aurelia Gomez.

Left to cherish her memory are her children, Rosaura (Alejandro) Villarreal, Anselmo (Nora) Garza, Armando (Nidia) Garza, Rosa Puente, Irma (+Thomas) Scribner, Raymundo (+Corina) Garza, Mary Lou (Hector) Jalomo, Cristina (Roberto) Reyes; 54 grandchildren; numerous great grandchildren; numerous great-great grandchildren, other family and friends.

A visitation will be held on Monday, December 14, 2020, from 5:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. at Gamez and Sons Funeral Home & Cremation Services where a rosary will be recited at 7:00 p.m.

Funeral services will be held on Tuesday , December 15, 2020, from the funeral home to St. Frances Mother Cabrini Catholic Church where a funeral mass will be celebrated at 10:30 a.m. Funeral home doors open at 7:00 a.m. and a procession departs at 10:00 a.m.

In accordance with city ordinance, the number of visitors will be limited to 50 percent occupancy capacity (90 people) at a time. Please feel free to wait in your vehicle for a turn. Similar or more stringent guidelines are likely applicable at the church and cemetery.

Interment will follow to the Calvary Catholic Cemetery.
