Mariselda Salazar

Mrs. Mariselda Salazar, 63, passed away on July 8, 2025, surrounded by her loving family at home. Maricelda was a loving, caring, and nurturing Registered Nurse for 27 years, lastly working for Laredo Medical Center. She will be greatly missed by all who knew her.

She is preceded in death by her parents: Gilberto Sosa & Simona Flores Sosa.

Surviving her are her husband: Homero Salazar; children: Erika Salazar, Daniel (Paulette) Salazar, Kevin Salazar; grandchildren: Abigail Salazar, Daniel Salazar Jr., Lucas Salazar, Amerie Salazar; siblings: Jose Luis Sosa, Rosa Torres, Dora Sosa, Yvonne Sosa, Sylvia Sosa, as well as numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and many friends.

The family will receive condolences on Tuesday, July 15, 2025, from 8 am until 12 noon at Gamez & Sons Funeral and Cremation Services, where a chapel service will commence at 10 am, led by Noemi Mercado.

Procession will depart the funeral home chapel at 12 noon to the City of Laredo Cemetery for a graveside service at 12:20pm.

Pallbearers will be: Homero Salazar, Jose Luis Sosa, Daniel Salazar, Daniel Salazar Jr., Kevin Salazar, and Gustavo Martinez,
