Maria Elba Lara

Maria Elba Lara, 81, was called by the Lord on May 17, 2021.

She was preceded in death by her 5 siblings her sons: Misael Cardenas & Romel Cardenas.

Left to cherish her memory are her children: Maria M. (Juan) Granados, Jose A. (Teresita) Jaime, Julieta (Daniel Soto) Jaime, Claudia (Jose Luis) Valdez, Vicente (Clara) Cardenas, & Cristian Cardenas, daughter in law, Karina Cardenas, 12 grandchildren, 6 great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.

A visitation will be held on Thursday, May 20, 2021, from 5:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. at Gamez and Sons Funeral Home & Cremation Services where a prayer service will be held at 7:00 p.m.

Funeral services will be held on Friday, May 21, 2021, at Gamez & Sons Funeral and Cremation Services where a chapel service will be held at 9:00 a.m. Funeral home doors will open at 7:00 a.m. Procession departs at 10:00 a.m.

Interment will follow to the City of Laredo Cemetery.
