Maria Rumalda Garcia, 61, was called by the Lord on Sunday, September 18, 2016.

She was preceded in death by her Husband, Manuel Garcia, Son, Michael Garcia, and brother, Daniel Nieto Jr.

Left to cherish her memory are her children, Pedro Mata Jr, Daniel (Luz) Mata, Ricardo (Renell) Mata, Carlos Sylvestre Garcia, and Ashley Garcia, siblings:David (Bertha) Mata Juanita (Fausto) Rocha, Veronica (Mario) Rivas, and Evelyn Ramirez, sister-in-law, Inez Nieto, daughter-in-law, Mary Elizabeth Tapia, nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

The family will be receiving guests on Tuesday, September 20, 2016, from 5:00pm to 9:00pm, at Gámez & Sons Funeral and Cremation Services, where a rosary will commence at 7:00pm. Funeral services will be Wednesday, September 21, 2016, at San Luis Rey Catholic church, where a funeral mass will commence at 8:30 am. Interment will follow immediately at the Calvary Catholic Cemetery. Pallbearers: Derek Mata, Ricardo Mata, Pedro Mata Jr., Carlos S. Garcia, Daniel V. Nieto, David Nieto Jr., Rafael Ramirez, and Daniel Mata.

Funeral services are under the arrangements of Gámez & Sons Funeral and Cremation Services, 1029 Bob Bullock Loop, Laredo, Texas 78043.
