Maria Julia Ramos

Mrs. Maria Julia Rossel Ramos, 83, entered into eternal rest surrounded by her family on February 13, 2023. She will be deeply missed, but forever loved.

She is preceded in death by her son, Juan Ricardo Ramos; parents: Abraham and Elvira Rossel; siblings: Jesus Rossel, Minerva Vasquez, Defina Rossel Jimenez, Fernando Rossel, Guadalupe Rossel, Catarino Rossel, Maria Reyes Baker.

Left behind to cherish her memory are her husband of 63 years of marriage, Mr. Juan Ramos Jr.; children: Roberto (Ivonne) Ramos, Reynaldo (Cynthia) Ramos, Elsa Alicia (Ricardo) Martinez, Heriberto Ramos, Melissa (Luis) Verdiguel, Elizabeth R. (Jose Luis Jr.) Castillo; grandchildren: Matthew Ramos, Michelle D. (Daniel) Villarreal, Nathan Ramos, Vanessa Ramos, Rene Ramos, Joshua Ramos, Abigail Ramos, Kristina L. Martinez, Julian Martinez, Leonardo H. Ramos, Daniel Verdiguel, Marco Verdiguel, Alessandra Verdiguel, Justin J. Villarreal, John A. Ramos, Jose Luis Castillo III, Jackson L. Castillo, Citlali Basilio, Elianai Basilio; great-grandchildren, Anastacia Amara Gonzalez, Emiliana Idalia Gonzalez, Martina Monserrat Gonzalez, Gabriella Liliana Martinez, Oliver Krause; siblings: Gloria (Donato) Rios, Eustolio (Eva) Rossel, Juana Rossel; sister-in-law: Guadalupe (Jesus +) Rossel; daugher-in-law, Roxanne (Juan Ricardo +) Ramos, as well as numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and freinds.

The family will receive condolences on Monday, February 20, 2023 from 5 to 9 pm at Gamez & Sons Funeral and Cremation Services, where a Rosary will be recited at 7 pm.

Funeral procession will depart at 8 am on Tuesday, February 21, 2023 to San Luis Rey Catholic Church for a Mass of Christian Burial to be celebrated at 8:30 am.

Rite of Committal and Interment will follow at the City of Laredo Cemetery.
