Maria M. Ortiz, 59, passed away on Thursday, February 28, 2019 in Laredo, Texas.
She is preceded in death by her parents Maria Concepcion Garcia and Bernabe Villanueva; brother, Bernabe Villanueva Garcia.
Left to cherish her memory is her husband Humberto Ortiz; children, Luis Humberto (Alejandra) Ortiz, Juan Miguel Ortiz, Hugo Daniel Ortiz, and Jesus Genaro Ortiz; sisters, Martha Guadalupe (Pedro) Marquez and Ana Laura (Sergio Jesus) Garcia. Mrs. Ortiz is also survived by 11 grandchildren, nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
A visitation will be held on Monday, March 4, 2019 from 5:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. at Gamez & Sons Funeral and Cremation Services. A rosary will be recited at 7:00 p.m.
A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, March 5, 2019 at 9:30 a.m. from Gamez & Sons Funeral and Cremation Services to Santo Niño Catholic Church. Mass will be celebrated at 10:00 a.m.
Funeral services are under the arrangement of Gamez & Sons Funeral and Cremation Services, 1029 Bob Bullock Loop, Laredo, Texas 78043.
