Maria Ignacia Villarreal, 75, passed away on Wednesday, June 10, 2026.
She is preceded in death by Baby Mario Ignacio Butanda; parents, Octavio & Eva Villarreal; siblings, Cayetana Villarreal, Lionel Villarreal.
Left to cherish her memory are her life partner, Eliazar (Tino) Celestino Meza; children, Sergio (Maria) Butanda, Juan Miguel (Virginia) Butanda; siblings, Gustavo (Josefina) Villarreal, Maria (Jose Hilario +) Rangel, Adan Villarreal, Eva Lopez, Jose Luis (Cristina) Villarreal.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, June 14, 2026, from 5 to 9pm at Gamez & Sons Funeral and Cremation Services, where a Rosary will be held at 7pm.
Funeral Service will be held on Monday, June 15, 2026, from 7 to 8am at Gamez & Sons Funeral and Cremation Services. We will be departing the funeral home chapel at 8am to Nuestra Señora del Rosario for a service at 8:30am.
Interment will follow to the City of Laredo Cemetery.
