Maria Guzman
April 8, 1928 — January 1, 2016
Maria Belen Guzman, 87, was called by the Lord on January 1, 2016.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Fidel and Rosalia Perez, husband, Adolfo Guzman, grandson, Adolfo F. Guzman, and sisters: Sylvia Garcia and Guadalupe (Horacio) P. Aguilar.
Left to cherish her memory are her children: Gerardo (Patricia) Guzman, Adolfo (Kathy) Guzman, Maria Mercedes Guzman, San Juanita Guzman, and Maria (Jose) Hernandez, brother-in-law, Martin Garcia, 12 grandchildren, 18 great-grandchildren.
The family will be receiving guests on Thursday, January 7, 2016, from 5:00pm to 9:00pm, at Gámez & Sons Funeral and Cremation Services, 1029 Bob Bullock Loop, where a rosary will be recited at 7:00pm. Funeral services will be on Friday, January 8, 2016, at San Luis Rey Catholic Church where a funeral mass will be celebrated at 8:30am. Interment will follow immediately at the Calvary Catholic Cemetery,
