Maria Guevara

Maria I. Guevara, 86, was called by the Lord on August 10, 2021.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Porfirio Guevara Jr., sons: Daniel Guevara, Ricardo Guevara, & Jose Angel Guevara, parents, Francisco & Antonia Ibarra, & siblings: Carlos Ibarra, Francisco Ibarra, Delia (Santiago) Morlet, & Eva I. Lopez.

Left to cherish her memory are her children: David (Magdalena) Guevara, Rosa Maria Guevara, Nora (Anselmo) Garza, Norma (Ricardo) Ruiz, Alicia Moncivais, & Marisela Guevara; 19 grandchildren, 42 great grandchildren, 5 great-greatgrandchildren, siblings: Jose (Leticia) Ibarra, Reymundo (Linda) Ibarra, Rosalio (Melva) Ibarra, Luis Antonio (Feliciana) Ibarra & Fernando (Pilar) Ibarra, sister-in-law: Maria Ibarra, nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

A visitation will be held on, Friday, August 13, 2021, from 5pm to 9pm at Gamez & Sons Funeral and Cremation Services where a rosary will be recited at 7:00pm. Funeral services will be on Saturday, August 14, 2021, from the funeral home to St. Frances Cabrini Catholic Church where a funeral mass will be celebrated at 10:30am. The funeral home will open at 7:00am and a procession will depart at 10:00am. Interment will follow immediately after the funeral mass at the Calvary Catholic Cemetery.

Pallbearers will be: Daniel Guevara, David Guevara Jr., Javier Guevara, Anselmo Garza Jr., Arnold Garza, Ricardo Ruiz Jr., Ricardo Moncivais, Alberto Carillo Jr.
