Maria Leonor Galvan

Maria L. Galvan, 94, passed away on Sunday, September 1, 2024, in Laredo, TX.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Apolinar Macias Martinez; children, Reyes Macias Galvan, Jesus Macias Galvan; parents, Magdaleno Galvan & Carmen Placencia, and her siblings. 

Left to cherish her memory are her children: Maria Loreto Macias, Jose (Vicenta) Macias, Socorro (Rene) Prado, Gerardo (Olga) Macias, Leticia (Juan) Rosas, Graciela (Fernando) Quevedo, Fernando Macias, 19 grandchildren, numerous great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews other relatives and friends. 

Visitations will be held on Thursday, September 5, 2024, from 5 to 9 pm at Gamez & Sons Funeral and Cremation Services, where a Rosary will be held at 7 pm.

Funeral procession will depart the funeral home chapel at 10 am on Friday, September 6, 2024, to San Luis Rey Catholic Church, where a Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10:30 am.

Cremation will be held at a later date.

Pallbearers will be: Fernando Macias, Juan Rosas, Fernando Quevedo, Rene Prado, Luis Quevedo, Dariel Quevedo, Juan Rosas, & Rene Prado Jr.
