Maria J. Flores, 74, passed away on Monday, January 19, 2026 in Laredo, Texas.

She is preceded in death by her husband, Jesus Flores Sr.; son, Jose Antonio Flores; parents: Antonio Salinas & Carmen Contreras; siblings, Manuel Gilberto Salinas, Miguel Salinas, Rita Candida Salinas.

Left to cherish her memory are her children, Elizabeth (Ramiro) Garza, Noralba (Jon) Flores, Jesus (Cynthia) Flores, Gustavo (Oralia) Flores; grandchildren, Cynthia Flores, Melanie (Sergio) Flores, Emily "Emrys" Garcia, JJ (Ruby) Garcia III, Joel Garcia, Mia Flores, Briana Flores, Brandon Gonzalez, Haley Flores, Jose Antonio (Destiny) Flores, Joshua Flores, Jizelle Flores, Aaliyah O. Flores, Adalynn O. Flores, Jeremy Flores, Gianna Flores; great grandchildren, Miguel Chapa III, Marco Chapa, Matthew Chapa, Samantha Hernandez; siblings, Hortencia De Leon, Aurora Pacheco (Humberto), Antonio Salinas (Douglas), Rosa Maria Salinas; sisters in law, Josefina Pacheco de Salinas, Rosa Elia Pacheco de Salinas, nieces, nephews other relatives and friends.

Visitations will be held on Friday, January 23, 2026, from 5 to 9pm at Gamez & Sons Funeral and Cremation Services, where a Rosary will be held at 7pm.

Funeral Services will be held on Saturday, January 24, 2026, from 7 to 8am at Gamez & Sons Funeral and Cremation Services, where we will depart the funeral home chapel at 8am to Christ the King Catholic Church for a Mass at 8:30am.

Interment will follow to the Calvary Catholic Cemetery.
