Maria de Jesus Perez, 58, passed away on Saturday, March 14, 2026.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Hipolito Montelongo; brother, Ignacio Montelongo.

Left to cherish her memory are her children, Freddy Perez (Ingrid Martinez), Mario Perez, David Perez, Dana Karina Perez; grandchildren, Nolan Perez, Nalani Perez, Inajane Peaster; mother, Socorro Serna; siblings, Antonio Montelogno, Alvino Montelongo, Fernando Montelongo, Martha Montelogno, Angelica Montelongo, Alfredo Montelongo, Rodolfo Montelongo, Hipolito Montelogno, Sagrario Montelongo, & Irma Guadalupe Montelongo, nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

Visitation will be held on Wednesday, March 18, 2026, from 7 to 12:15pm at Gamez & Sons Funeral and Cremation Services where a Chapel Service will be held at 11am.

Interment will follow to the City of Laredo Cemetery for a graveside service at 12:30pm.

Pallbearers will be: Freddy Perez, Mario Perez, David Perez, Alvino Montelogno, Antonio Montelongo, & Jesus.
