Lydia Olivares, 72, passed away on Saturday, May 2, 2026.

She is preceded in death by her husband, Norberto Hugo Olivares Sr.; children, Raymundo Olivares, Carlos Olivares; parents, Jose Nabor Macias & Consuelo Diaz de Macias; siblings, Andres Macias, Francisco Macias (Ana), and Victoria Barajas (Jose Luis).

Left to cherish her memory are her children, Lydia Olivares, Norberto Hugo Olivares Jr., Roy Andy Olivares; 14 grandchildren; 7 great-grandchildren; siblings, Alfonso Macias (+Amparo), Jose Macias (+Esther), Roberto Macias (Manuelita), Aurora Macias, Consuelo Taboada (+Armando), Guadalupe Ramirez (Juan Felipe); as well as nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.

Visitation will be held on Thursday, May 7, 2026, from 7 to 11:20am at Gamez & Sons Funeral and Cremation Services. We will be departing the funeral home chapel at 11:20am to San Vicente de Paul Catholic Church for a Mass at 12pm.

Interment will follow to the Calvary Catholic Cemetery.

Pallbearers will be: Norberto H. Olivares Jr., Armando Taboada Jr., Julio Cesar Taboada, Victor Cisneros, Juan Felipe Ramirez Jr., Mark Puente, Joey Mancillas, and Jesse Mancillas.
