Luis Montes Verastegui

Luis Montes Verastegui, 81, passed away on Monday, February 24, 2020 in Laredo, Texas.

Mr. Verastegui is preceded in death by his wife, Simona Montes;m brother, Rolando (Amelia) Montes, and Rafael (Rosa Maria) Montes.

Left to cherish his memory are his children, Luis (Veronica) Montes, Laura Gonzalez, (Ernest Rodriguez), and Sandra (Johnny) Olivares; siblings, Daniel (Antonia+) Montes, Gloria Torres (Luis), Raul (Maria Elena+) Montes, Rosalinda (Salvador) Torres, Benjamin (Dolores) Montes, Blanca Montes (Heberto+), Juan (Norma) Montes, and Jose Antonio Montes. He is also survived by his 6 grandchildren, 2 great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

A rosary will be recited on Friday, February 28, 2020 at 7:00 p.m. at Gamez & Sons Funeral and Cremation Services. Visitation will be held from 5:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m.

Cremation will be held at a later date.

Funeral services are under the arrangement of Gamez & Sons Funeral and Cremation Services, 1029 Bob Bullock Loop, Laredo, Texas 78043.
