Lucia L. Gomez

Lucia L. Gomez, 90, passed away on Thursday, July 16, 2026.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Jesus Gomez; her daughter, Sara Alicia Treviño; her son, Juan Apolonio Treviño Jr. (Martha Sandra); her parents, Ignacio E. & Maria Lopez; and her siblings.

Left to cherish her memory are her children, Mario Alberto Treviño (+Thelma), Miguel Angel Treviño (Rosa), Rogelio Humberto Treviño, Ida Araceli Garza (Valentin), Irma Annette Gonzalez (Esteban), and Idalia Alicia Navarro (Fidel); numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.

Visitation will be held on Sunday, July 19, 2026, from 5 to 9pm at Gamez & Sons Funeral and Cremation Services, where a Holy Rosary will be recited at 7:00 p.m. 

Funeral Service will be held on Monday, July 20, 2026, from 7 to 8:30am at Gamez & Sons Funeral and Cremation Services. We will be departing the funeral home chapel at 8:30am to St. Frances Cabrini Catholic Church for a Mass at 9am. 

Cremation will be held at a later date.

Pallbearers will be: Hector Vedarte Jr., Carlos Vedarte, Joel Hinojosa, Esteban Gonzalez, Andres Navarro, Jr., Mario Alberto Treviño, & Valentin Garza.

The family would like to express their heartfelt gratitude to Dr. Carlos Espinosa and the entire US Renal staff for the compassionate care they provided to Lucia.
