Lucia L. Gomez

Lucia L. Gomez, 90, passed away on July 16, 2026.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Jesus Gomez; her daughter, Sara Alicia Treviño; her son, Juan Apolonio Treviño Jr. (Martha Sandra); her parents, Ignacio E. & Maria Lopez; and her siblings.

Left to cherish her memory are her children, Mario Alberto Treviño (+Thelma), Miguel Angel Treviño (Rosa), Rogelio Humberto Treviño, Ida Araceli Garza (Valentin), Irma Annette Gonzalez (Esteban), and Idalia Alicia Navarro (Fidel); numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.

Visitation will be held on Sunday, July 19, 2026, from 5:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. at Gamez & Sons Funeral and Cremation Services, where a Holy Rosary will be recited at 7:00 p.m. Visitation will continue the following day, Monday, July 20, 2026, beginning at 7:00 a.m. at Gamez & Sons Funeral and Cremation Services. The funeral procession will depart the funeral home at 8:30 a.m. for a 9:00 a.m. Funeral Mass at St. Frances Cabrini Catholic Church, 3018 Davis Ave., Laredo, Texas 78040. Serving as pallbearers will be Hector Vedarte Jr., Carlos Vedarte, Joel Hinojosa, Esteban Gonzalez, Andres Navarro, Jr., Mario Alberto Treviño, & Valentin Garza.A cremation will be held at a later date.

The family would like to express their heartfelt gratitude to Dr. Carlos Espinosa and the entire US Renal staff for the compassionate care they provided to Lucia.
