Lidia Rios

Lidia Rios, 64, passed away on Monday, August 31, 2020 in Laredo, Texas.

She is preceded in death by her parents, Trinidad & Lucia Jimenez; brother, Jose Alfredo Jimenez.

Left to cherish her memory is her husband, Juan Ramon Rios Sr.; children, Lucia (Jorge) Rosales, Juan Ramon (San Juana) Rios Jr., 8 grandchildren; siblings, Francisco (Esther) Jimenez, San Juana Jimenez de Castro, Gerardo (Dora) Jimenez, numerous other family and friends.

A visitation will be held on Thursday, September 3, 2020 from 5:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. at Gamez & Sons Funeral and Cremation Services where a rosary will be recited at 7:00 p.m.

Funeral services will be held on Friday, September 4, 2020, funeral home doors will open at 7:00 a.m. Procession will depart at 10:30 a.m. from Gamez & Sons Funeral and Cremation Services to Santa Margarita Catholic Church where a mass will be celebrated at 11:00 a.m.

Interment will follow immediately to the Calvary Catholic Cemetery.

Honorary Pallbearers will be, Juan Ramon Rios Jr., Edgar Garcia, Jorge Rosales, Jorge Rosales Jr., Francisco Jimenez, Gerardo Jimenez, Alex Campos, Juan Villa, Vidal Rodriguez, and Robert Higle.

In accordance with city ordinance, the number of visitors will be limited to 50 percent occupancy capacity. Please feel free to wait in your vehicle for a turn if funeral home reaches capacity. All visitors must wear a face mask before entering the building and use hand sanitizer provided upon entry. Visitors must provide their own face covering.  Anyone that is knowingly sick or has upper respiratory illness is asked to stay home and may be denied entry.
