Juan Ramon Rios Rivera, 76, passed away on Sunday, February 08, 2026, in Laredo, Texas.

He is preceded in death by his wife, Lidia Jimenez Rios; parents, Ismael & Celestina Rios; siblings, Ismael Rios Jr., Jesus Rios.

Left to cherish his memory are his children, Juan Ramon (San Juana) Rios Jr., Lucia (Jorge) Rosales, Celina (Robert) Higle, Ruben Ismael Rios, Norma Alicia Rios; grandchildren, Jorge Rosales Jr., Ashley Rios, Edgar Garcia, Angel Garcia, Laisha Rosales, Rhianna Rosales, Juan F. Rios, Annelle Rios; great grandchildren, Angelo Garcia, Jorge Rosales III, Edgar Martinez, Mickel Garcia, Thalia Martinez, Galilea Martinez, Ruben Camarillo, Kailea Rosales; siblings, Maria (Ruben+) Diaz, Celia Patricia (Francisco) Galarza, Celina (Alejandro) Campos, Raul Rios.

Visitation will be held on Wednesday, February 11, 2026, from 5 to 9pm at Gamez & Sons Funeral and Cremation Services, where a Rosary will be held at 7pm.

Funeral Services will be held on Thursday, February 12, 2026, from 7 to 8:30am at Gamez & Sons Funeral and Cremation Services, where we will be departing the funeral home chapel at 8:30am to Nuestra Señora del Rosario Catholic Church where a Mass will be held at 9am.

Interment will follow to the Calvary Catholic Cemetery.

Pallbearers will be: Juan Ramon Rios Jr., Juan F. Rios, Edgar Garcia, Jorge Rosales, Robert Higle, Arturo Castillo, Raul Rios, Alejandro Campos.
