Juan Montoya

Juan Montoya Sr., 73, passed away on Thursday, July 17, 2025.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Moises Montoya & Maria Andrea Sanchez; sister: Esther Montoya.

Left to cherish his memory is his wife, Rosa Maria Montoya; children: Juan Montoya Jr (Marilou), Cynthia Irene Montoya, Eligio Montoya (Cynthia), & Rosa Concepcion Montoya; 12 granchildren; 8 great-grandchildren; siblings: Fidencia Montoya & Josefina Montoya, Mario Montoya, neices, nephews, other relatives and friends.

Visitations will be held on Sunday, July 20, 2025, from 5 to 9 pm at Gamez & Sons Funeral and Cremation Services, where a Rosary will be offered at 7 pm.

Funeral Services will be held on Monday, July 21, 2025, from 7 am until 9:30 am, where the funeral procession will depart to Santa Rita de Casia Catholic Church, where a Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10 am.

Procession will follow to the City of Laredo Cemetery.

Pallbearers will be: Juan Montoya Jr., Eligio Montoya, Omar Cruz, Josue Montoya, Mario Montoya, & Agustin Ollervidez.
