Juan F. "Payo" Gonzalez, 63, passed away on Thursday, March 05, 2026, in Laredo, Texas.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Francisco & Maria Gonzalez.
Left to cherish his memory is his wife, Maria De Lourdes Gonzalez; sons, Juan Francisco Gonzalez Jr. (Darcie Doreen) & Roberto Gonzalez (Mary Garibaldi); grandchildren, Juan Francisco Gonzalez III, Jaiden Nicolas Gonzalez, Darcie Doreen Gonzalez, & Matthew Robbie Gonzalez; siblings, Guadalupe Aguero (+Pedro), Francisca Gonzalez (Jorge Antonio), Jose Dominguez (Rosa), & Lourdes Dominguez, nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, March 10, 2026, from 7 to 10am at Gamez & Sons Funeral and Cremation Services. We will be departing the funeral home chapel at 10am to San Luis Rey Catholic Church for a Mass at 11am.
Interment will follow to the Calvary Catholic Cemetery for a graveside service at 12pm.
Pallbearers: Juan Francisco Gonzalez Jr, Roberto Gonzalez, Juan Francisco Gonzalez III, Jaiden Nicolas Gonzalez, Juan Pedro Aguero, Roberto Israel Aguero, Pedro Aguero Jr., & Hector Salinas.
