Juan Jose Escobedo

Juan Jose Escobedo, 92, passed away on Tuesday, January 6, 2026, in Laredo, Texas.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Juan & Francisca Escobedo; many siblings.

Left to cherish his memory is his wife of 53 years of marriage, Alejandrina Escobedo; children, Irene Escobedo, Raquel Escobedo (Miguel Frias), Juan Escobedo, & Sonia Escobedo; 26 grandchildren; 32 great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

Visitation will be held on Friday, January 9, 2026, from 5 to 9pm at Gamez & Sons Funeral and Cremation Services where a Rosary will be held at 7pm.

Funeral Services will be held on Saturday, January 10, 2026, from 7 to 11:15am, at Gamez & Sons Funeral and Cremation Services, where a Liturgy of the Word will be held at 10am.

Interment will follow to the Calvary Catholic Cemetery for a graveside service at 11:40am.

Pallbearers will be: Juan Escobedo, Jose Ramon Villanueva Jr., Marco Frias, Jennifer Frias, Milton Hernandez, Elias Tobias, Kevin Escobedo, & JJ Escobedo.
