Jose Angel Treviño

It is with a heavy heart and deep sadness, we announce the passing of Jose Angel Treviño, 48. Angel departed this world to be with our Lord on Monday, August 31st, 2026.

He was a beloved father, husband, son, brother, uncle, and a fierce friend. 

He is preceded in death by his maternal grandmother, Yolanda Garcia Sosa, brother Larry Trevino and sister-in-law, Vanessa Velasquez.Left behind to honor his memory is his loving wife, Jacklyn Trevino; his children Samantha S. Treviño (Marten Faling) and John A. Treviño (Melody); his mother, Maria Teresa Treviño, and his father, Martin Treviño Sr.; his siblings Cesar (Brenda) Treviño, Martin Treviño Jr., Erica Treviño, Rolando Treviño, Jessica Treviño, Jerry (Liz) Treviño; his mother-in-law, Rosa A. Torres; father-in-law, Juan A. Torres and his sister-in-law Jennifer (Francisco) Figueroa; as well as many nieces and nephews, cousins, aunts and uncles, and many friends.

A visitation will be held on Friday, September 11, 2026 at Gamez & Sons Funeral and Cremation Services from 5 pm to 9 pm. A rosary will be recited at 7 pm.

Services will conclude at the end of the visitation. A private cremation will be held at a later date.
