Jose Rogelio Gonzalez, 83, was called by the Lord on September 29, 2018.

He was preceded in death by his parents: Josefa & Jose Gonzalez, siblings: Bertha Villarreal, Blanca Maldonado, Ricardo Gonzalez & Irma Gonzalez.

Left to cherish his memory is his wife, Esperanza Gonzalez, children: Leticia (Nicolas) Garcia, Mariza (Jose Gustavo) Maldonado, Ana Maria (Paul) Cañada, Diana Laura (Alberto) Aguirre, Blanca (Gustavo) Gonzalez & Jose Rogelio (Cristina) Gonzalez Jr., sister, Elvira Gonzalez, grandchildren: Gustavo (Rosa) II, Roberto & Christian Maldonado, Eduardo Damian Salinas, Nicole & Ashley Aguirre, Gustavo Angel & Gabriela Angelica Gonzalez & Jose Rogelio III, Liliana Cristina & Esteban Alejandro Gonzalez, life-long friend & compadre, Ramiro Gonzalez, nieces, nephews, other relatives & friends.

A visitation will be held on Tuesday, October 2, 2018, from 5:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. at Gamez & Sons Funeral & Cremation Services where a rosary will be recited at 7:00 p.m. Funeral services will be on Wednesday, October 3, 2018, from the funeral home to Christ the King Catholic Church where a funeral mass will be celebrated at 10:00am. Interment will follow immediately at the Calvary Catholic Cemetery. Pallbearers will be: Jose Rogelio Gonzalez Jr., Gustavo Alfonso Gonzalez, Gustavo Maldonado, Gustavo Maldonado II, Roberto Maldonado, Christian Maldonado, Gustavo Angel Gonzalez, Eduardo Damian Salinas & Alberto Aguirre.

Funeral services are under the arrangement of Gámez & Sons Funeral and Cremation Services, 1029 Bob Bullock Loop, Laredo, Texas 78043.
