Jose Luis "Pepe" Magaña

Jose Luis "Pepe" Magaña, 56, left this world on September 27, 2022. He passed away of natural causes surrounded by his family. Pepe was born on November 28, 1965. He married his high school sweetheart, Sandra K. Lira-Magaña (married for 32 years). Though he touched many lives during that time, the lives most important to him were those of his children and his grandchildren.

Pepe is preceded in death by his father, Daniel Magaña Sr.; brother-in-law, Enrique Flores.

Jose is survived by his loving wife, Sandra K. Magaña; children: Yessenia Eliz Magaña, Alexandra Lynn (Juan Jose) Magaña-Dominguez, and Anthony Raymond V. Magana; grandchildren: Dimitri Daniel-Amadeus Magaña, Anastasia Marie Magaña, and Juan Jose Dominguez III; mother, Rosa Magaña; siblings: Maria Mercedes (Enrique +) Flores, Alejandra (Jose) Ibarra, Rosa Elia (Carlos) Garcia, Daniel (Ofelia) Magaña Jr., Ramon (Elsa) Magaña, Roberto (Araceli) Magaña, Sergio (Rosalinda) Magaña, Oscar (Monica) Contreras; mother in law, Juanita G. Lira, as well as numerous in laws, nieces and nephews.

The family will receive condolences on Monday, October 3, 2022 from 5 pm to 9 pm at Gamez & Sons Funeral and Cremation Services, where a rosary will be held at 7 pm.

Funeral procession will depart the funeral chapel at 9:30 am on Tuesday, October 4, 2022 to Santo Niño Catholic Church for a Mass of Christian Burial to be celebrated at 10 a.m.

Rite of Committal and Interment will follow at the Calvary Catholic Cemetery.

Pallbearers will be: Daniel Magaña Jr., Ramon Magaña Sr., Roberto Magaña, Sergio Magaña, Juan Ibarra, Carlos Garcia, Anthony Vasquez-Magaña, Juan Jose Dominguez III.
