Jose Luis "Kalin" Ibarra Bautista

Jose Luis "Kalin" Ibarra Bautista, 80, passed away on Thursday, February 12, 2026.

He is preceded in death by his parents, Jose Angel Ibarra & Alberta Bautista; brother, Rodolfo Ibarra Bautista, and one grandson.

Left to cherish his memory are his children: Sandra Luz Ibarra Sierra, Jose Luis Ibarra Sierra (Mary Gamboa Ibarra), Felipe Neri Ibarra (Emma Ibarra), Salvador Ibarra (Esmeralda Ibarra), Guillermo Ibarra Sierra (Gabriela Ibarra), 18 grandchildren, 27 great-grandchildren, siblings: Yolanda Ibarra Bautista, San Juana Ibarra Bautista, Rosalinda Ibarra Bautista, Bertha Alicia Ibarra Bautista, Melin Ibarra Bautista, Adan Ibarra Bautista, & Donaciano Ibarra Bautista, nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

Visitation will be held on Saturday, February 14, 2026, from 6pm to Sunday, February 15, 2026, 12:15pm, at Gamez & Sons Funeral and Cremation Services where a Rosary will be held on Saturday, February 14, 2026 at 7pm and a Liturgy of the Word will be held on Sunday, February 15, 2026 at 11:30am.

We will be departing the funeral home chapel on Sunday, February 15, 2026 at 11:15am to the City of Laredo Cemetery, where a graveside service will be held at 11am.

Pallbearers will be: Jose Luis ibarra Sierra, Felipe Neri Ibarra, Salvador Ibarra, Guillermo Ibarra Sierra, Salvador Ibarra Jr., & Orlando Ibarra.
