Jose Inez Lopez

Jose Inez Lopez, 74, passed away peacefully surrounded by his family members, on Monday, April 7, 2025.

Mr. Lopez graduated in 1971 from J. W. Nixon High School. After High School he served in the army. He was a hard-working man all his life. He worked diligently for Securitas for over 20 years. He had a great passion for baseball and worked tirelessly as an umpire for the local baseball leagues for over 30 years. 

He is preceded in death by his parents; Roman Lopez Sr. and Maria J. Lopez, siblings; Rafael (Lucia) Lopez, Jose Roberto Lopez, Ricardo Lopez, Justo R. Lopez and Alica Lopez.

Left to cherish his memory is his brothers; Roman (Karen) Lopez Jr., Ramiro (Leticia) Lopez, two nephews; Joey and Luis Rodriguez, many more relatives and friends.

We want to thank the great staff of Doctors Hospital for taking good care of our beloved brother and Uncle Jose Inez Lopez.

Graveside service with Military Honers will be held on Friday, May 2, 2025 at 10 am at the Veteran's Columbarian at the City Cemetery.
