We mournfully announce the passing into eternal life of our beloved, Jose Santos Aguilera, a resident of Laredo, Texas, forever remembered by his family who will miss him, but cherish and carry his memory throughout thier lives.
He has been welcomed and preceded in death by his parents: Pilar Aguilera and Maria de Jesus Garcia Aguilera; siblings: Francisca (Juan Zapata) Aguilera Zapata; sister's-in-law: Francisca Treviño Aguilera, Teresa Aguilar Aguilera, Hermelinda Villarreal Salinas; brother's in law: Raul Colchado, Juan Zapata, and Manuel Dominguez.
Surviving him are his wife of 53 years of marriage, Susana Aguilera; children: Elsa Aguilera, Jose Santos Aguilera Jr., Lorena Aguilera, and David (Anissa) Aguilera; grandchildren: Timothy Andrew Aguilera, Kianna Marie Aguilera, Javier Valenzuela, Aleyda Aguilera, Amelie Aguilera; siblings: Jose Marcos (Teresa Aguilera +) Aguilera, Roberto (Francisca Treviño +) Aguilera, Olga (Raul Colchado) Aguilera Colchado; brother-in-law, Manuel Dominguez; sister-in-law: +Hermelinda (Jose Reyes Salinas) Villarreal Salinas, as well as numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
The family will receive condolences on Tuesday, November 4, 2025, from 5 to 9 pm at Gamez and Sons Funeral and Cremation Services, where a Rosary will be offered for the repose of her soul at 7pm
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at Santa Margarita de Escocia Catholic Church on Wednesday, November 5, 2025, with the time for mass and departure currently pending.
Rite of Committal and Interment will follow the mass at the Laredo City Cemetery.
