Jessica Denise Rangel

Our beautiful angel, Jessica Denise Rangel, 21, was called to go home to be with the Lord on February 2, 2024, in Laredo, Texas. She was born on December 9, 2002, in Laredo, Texas, the daughter of Ricardo Alonzo Rangel and Adela Plata.

She is preceded in death by her grandparents: Arturo & Irma Rangel.

Left behind to cherish her memory are her parents: Ricardo Alonzo Rangel & Adela Plata; siblings: Kevin Rangel, Ricardo Rangel Jr.; aunts and uncles: Robert (Leticia) Rangel, Alex (Isabel) Rangel, Federico Rangel, Ricardo Rangel, Martha Cantu; cousins: David, Ruben, Lorena, Alex Jr., Raul Rangel, Michelle Gallegos, Mia, Nicolas Rangel; her godparents: Ricardo and Erika Gonzalez. She is further survived by an extended family.

The family would like to extend their most sincere gratitude to her caregivers: Marisol Carrillo, Angeles Castro; her nurses: Cruz Martinez, Mauricio Rayo, Raymundo Echeverria, Jesse Cortez, Erika, Esteban, Maria Solis, and everyone else who helped care for her throughout these years.

The family will receive condolences on Wednesday, February 7, 2024, from 8 am to 12 noon at Gamez & Sons Funeral and Cremation Services, where a Liturgy of the Word will be held at 11 am.

Rite of Committal and Interment will immediately follow to the City of Laredo Cemetery.

Pallbearers will be: Ricardo A. Rangel, Roberto Rangel, Alex Rangel, Federico Rangel, Ricardo Rangel Jr., Ricardo Gonzalez.
