Imelda Vazquez

Imelda Vazquez, 24, passed away on Tuesday, July 28, 2020.

She is survived by her parents, Ramon Vazquez and Glenda Ruiz; siblings, Guadalupe Vazquez, Andrea Vazquez, America Gia Vazquez; grandmother, Elisa Jimenez; grandparents, Ramon Vazquez & Herlinda Fernandez; niece, Riley Dream Hernandez; aunts, uncles, numerous other family and friends.

Visitation will be held on Friday, August 14, 2020 from 5:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. where a rosary will be recited at 7:00 p.m. at Gamez & Sons Funeral and Cremation Services.

Funeral services will be held on Saturday, August 15, 2020, funeral home doors will open at 7:00 a.m.  Procession will depart at 8:30 a.m. from Gamez & Sons Funeral and Cremation Services to St. Francis Cabrini Catholic Church.

Interment will follow immediately to the City of Laredo Cemetery.

In accordance with city ordinance, the number of visitors will be limited to 50 percent occupancy capacity. Please feel free to wait in your vehicle for a turn if funeral home reaches capacity. All visitors must wear a face mask before entering the building and use hand sanitizer provided upon entry. Visitors must provide their own face covering.  Anyone that is knowingly sick or has upper respiratory illness is asked to stay home and may be denied entry.
