Ignacio "Blue" Borrego
January 12, 1952 — January 31, 2017
Ignacio "Blue" Borrego, 65, was called by the Lord on January 31, 2017.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Pablo & Margarita Borrego, siblings: Pablo Borrego Jr., Pedro Borrego, Santos Lopez & Julia Canales.
Left to cherish his memory are his children: Veronica Borrego, Jorge (Celia) Borrego, Rene Borrego, Angel Borrego & Crystal Borrego, siblings: Cristina Garcia, Yolanda (Guadalupe) Costilla, Juan Borrego, Fructoso (Francis) Pisaña & Maria Teresa (Alejandro) Carpenteer, numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
The family will be receiving guests on Thursday, February 2, 2017, from 8 am to 12 pm at Gamez & Sons Funeral and Cremation Services where a Chapel Service will commence at 12:00 noon. Interment will follow immediately to the City Cemetery. Pallbearers will be: Crystal Borrego, Robert Borrego, Marc Borrego, Alberto Flores, Antonio Garcia Jr., & Juan Jose Castañeda.
Funeral services are under the arrangements of Gámez & Sons Funeral and Cremation Services, 1029 Bob Bullock Loop, Laredo, Texas 78043.
